Pains of Writing

DINING ROOM CHAIR COVERS - Pains of Writing

Hello everybody. Yesterday, I learned all about DINING ROOM CHAIR COVERS - Pains of Writing. Which is very helpful if you ask me and you. Pains of Writing

The sun felt warm on my back as it slid straight through the tiny crack between the curtain and the cold wall. One thousand one... One thousand two... One thousand three... Breathing... Breathing... Trying to remember what whole I was on, as the contractions continually get harder. What a relief when the muscles ultimately do ease up.

What I said. It just isn't the actual final outcome that the true about DINING ROOM CHAIR COVERS . You see this article for home elevators an individual want to know is DINING ROOM CHAIR COVERS .

DINING ROOM CHAIR COVERS

Writing for me has been the same as labor. Your mind is continually moving, swirling with bits and pieces asking, "What's next?" Then ultimately an idea pops into your head and your muscles relax for a slight or two. While those few moments, life flows like an emotional wave, thoughts being jotted down on that empty page.

Writing as a child in elementary school didn't have much meaning due to the fact that I don't remember my teachers' ever writing or even my family members writing. My memory does tour to a warm quaint house on Washington street to a small town in Colorado, to the stench of mothballs where my grandmother would sit at the large dining room table that was covered with a lacy tablecloth. She would peck one finger at a time on an old style typewriter that had white round finger pads each covered with a black letter. My sister and I didn't ask what she was doing, we just seemed article to play to the solid stream of rhythm and beat of that old machine. As of a few years ago, this memory would be just that, a memory. Until my father handed me an old black tattered book that contained the imprints that my grandmother had been working on - Poetry. At that moment, I realized that she too loved poetry. She would sit for hours and meditate until ultimately the words would come to her. Then she would quietly walk to that table and gracefully sit with her back level and tall against the hard wooden chair and type. She wouldn't say anyone to us. She just seemed to be in her own slight world until something would bring her back to the present day, something like the sound of glass being dropped from a two-story window.

My sister and I didn't mean to break one of those round orange plates that had a matching saucer and cup that were placed in the hide-a-way table that was pulled down for dinner. It was just an accident. Anyway, she would holler, "Mike, come get these girls out of here!" And in would run my grandfather, who would gently move us covering to help him water the peony bushes so that my grandmother could continue to work peacefully. My grandmother's ideas seemed to flow as I searched straight through the pages that held her thoughts. Could this be where my writing interest began? It sure was not advanced in high school or college. I do believe it began when I found ease in a true friend that taught me the point of journaling. Journaling has been a way to express myself without the fear of people rejecting or judging my thoughts. It opens my world where I can truly be myself and not person that others want me to be. I am only retention a description of my human existence for my one and only son. So that someday he can look back and feel the emotions that I did when I first opened that book that my grandmother so tenderly worked on.

When tragedies occur in life people have choices that have to be made. The choices I made were not all positive. On a tantalizing sunny June morning, my now ex-husband and I lost our slight girl, Taelor Rene. She was a full term stillborn, whom I felt move that same morning. Due to this loss and three miscarriages later, I pick to quit my life. I didn't think anyone mattered. I focused all my energies on my one high-priced slight boy and on my teaching. My husband also displayed signs of hopelessness. We indubitably denied that we had problems due to the fact that we never discussed how we were feeling. A deep stage of sorrow, hopelessness, and grief that people commonly go straight through While loss was something we both internalized. As the days, months, and now years have gone by my thoughts and emotions began to resurface when I taught a poetry unit to my first graders. I found ease and peace in my writing and in the teaching of my writing straight through this unit. It's funny how easy the verses came, one right after another and then the title: Heaven

Excited at the thought, a new one will be here. Anticipating the arrival, preparation the room. Intensely searching for movement, genuine, sincere joy, with every pain. The moments come, saddened, no heartbeat. No school days. No friends to have over. No first dates. No wedding. No future. Only the knowing, She is free!

The internalizing that I pick began to come out of me as words of sorrow, hopelessness, and grief that should have been expressed many years before. My writing was my avenue to bond with not only my slight girl but to the deep emotions that were bottled up inside of me for so long. The writing I do is for me. It is my way of healing. I want to be able to discuss the hurt that life has and will give to me without hurting anyone else around me. I now can express my thoughts creatively. If people want to share in them, all they have to do is open up the book. If not, hopefully they too can learn to heal themselves by insight what my family has and will continue to live with day after day.

As the breathing continues to get shorter and shorter the physician exclaims, "One more push," and with all your might you grab hold of a solid sound object, bearing down you do push. You push with everything that you have. As the tiny cries of that new born baby erupts throughout the room, you know in your heart that all the hard work and tears are well worth the pain.

Therefore, writing has been a form of healing that goes beyond words written on a paper, but a bridge to acceptance.

Covers - Writing Award Winning Fiction - The Steps to Get You There

Good evening. Yesterday, I found out about Covers - Writing Award Winning Fiction - The Steps to Get You There. Which is very helpful in my opinion and you.

The Universe works in mysterious ways -- most often in ways we cannot even perceive. I recently received notice that I had written award winning fiction. The funny thing of it is I used to think that in order for me to have the house of my dreams -- I would have to be living my dream life -- that of being a best-selling author.

What I said. It just isn't the actual final outcome that the true about Covers. You see this article for information about what you wish to know is Covers.

Covers

That is not how it worked for me.

Though it took me 50 years to accomplish my dream house (one that was designed by me and built in conjunction with my husband) I did accomplish it (using Law of attraction principles that I've written extensively about in other locations on EzineArticles). And it is a gorgeous house nestled on the Western Slope of the Sierra Nevada overlooking God's country and ten acres of natural wooded hills.

It is my dreaming ground.

Little did I know that when that life-long dream got concluded all of my dreams would come clamoring at the door, begging entry and a opening to sup at my table. Warm-heartedly and unabashedly, I opened the door and let them All in.

I have been a writer since I could hold a pencil. And I have reams and reams and reams of written material from before there were computers -- which means I had to hand-type them all. Or write them by hand.

When I was in my early twenties, I wrote some children's photo books that summarily got rejected one after the other -- only to find that one of the publishers I had sent my book to easily printed my book under the name of the illustrator. Argh, that was a deep-mining experience, from which I am only now recovering the gems.

This was all prior to the 1976 copyright law changes that prevented them from doing just that. What I took away from that event was somehow (convoluted though it may be) I felt I was not good enough.

I did not perceive how untrue that was until just a few years ago. If I had just tilted my eyes a bit and looked at it differently I would have realized that if it is good sufficient to steal and publish -- it meant that I was good sufficient to publish!

But as we go straight through life, and especially if we are working on continually improving ourselves, we come to perceive that our self-worth cannot be thought about by anyone surface of us. We are the ones who Must set the standard of our own self-worth. Letting someone else do that for you is giving away your power.

What happened next meant a new unfolding for me. The many books I kept on the back shelf of my mind started flying towards me, flapping their covers like wings and cooing at me, hovering above my head, first this one, then that one, until ultimately one touched down.

Though I had completed a non-fiction book before I wrote this novella, I did not easily count that as part of my repertoire because non-fiction is easily not my gig. Non-fiction is something I do easily having been a newspaper editor and reporter for some years. Non-fiction, to me, is not writing -- it's typing -- to steal a quote from Robin Williams doing a parody of Truman Capote.

I prefer to write fiction because in fiction, spirit can speak more freely to the reader without the writer getting in the way. Fiction is harder to write because it has to make sense. Truth does not. And the truth in fiction is the one the reader assigns to it -- it is not that of the writer. Fiction is a personal experience.

That's the way I like to write.

Keep that in mind when you write fiction. Your fiction must make sense even if you are asking your readers to hang their disbelief. Make it sensible.

So how do you write award-winning fiction? succeed these few steps and you will find yourself on your way to becoming an award winning fiction wrter:

Write plainly -- and write as you speak. Do not sway a voice that is not you -- this bleeds straight through the writing and gets all over the reader. They do not like it. It is messy and sticky. Start with topics you know -- even in fiction -- it is more real that way. Leave the Litter-A-Chure at the door -- Talk to your readers, do not try to impress them with your vocabulary. Otherwise you are just masturbating on the page in public. No one wants to watch. Trust me. Open a vein -- Lawrence Block said that and he is correct. Write from your heart, not your head. A good yarn goes a long way -- and remember it is Show them not Tell them. Writer's write -- Find a way to write every day. Every Day! One author wrote a mere hour a day and created more than 50 novels doing just that. Create dialogue that is real -- there is nothing worse than stilted dialogue. Write like habitancy talk. If you need help, go to the mall and sit where you can hear habitancy talk, description their conversations on paper to get a "feel" for dialogue. Develop a perspective and stick to it. Unless you are easily good, stick with one perspective, tell the story from one point of view. Leave out the boring stuff -- If it does not added the story - do not put it in. The bottom line is that when you write, write in a manner that keeps the reader turning the page. Draw them in -- make them want to find out how it ends. Even if they do not like the ending -- if you write well enough, they will read it cover to cover. They may say "I hate that book.," of "what a brainless ending," or "I cudda done better."

But they read it and felt something about it. And to me -- that is what it is all about anyway.

Getting your readers to feel.
